Thanks to our growing customer base, we are extending our team in Prague, the Czech Republic. We are seeking a Senior Data Architect with a strong technical background in data engineering and cloud architectures, who can not only design and deliver robust data solutions but also actively shape concepts, lead client engagements, and contribute to the success of strategic sales support activities

What will you do:

• Design, construct, test, and maintain modern data architectures and pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and/or Matillion, DBT, Fivetran,
• Lead the technical part of customer engagements, including requirements analysis, solution design, and architecture reviews,
• Actively participate in strategic sales activities, providing thought leadership and contributing to proposals, PoCs, and technical content of offers,
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions,
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, review deliverables, and ensure best practices in data engineering,
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (architects, consultants, project managers, business sponsors),
• Oversee project execution from the technical side and ensure alignment with client expectations,
• Identify opportunities for automation, data efficiency improvements, and new solution concepts,
• Share knowledge across the team via trainings, webinars or tech sessions

What do we expect

• Proven experience in data engineering and solution architecture, client-facing experience on large enterprise deployments is a must, experience building data warehouse(s) on premise and/or cloud including data modeling,
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across IT and business at various levels,
• Hands-on approach, proactivity, and ability to lead projects from concept to delivery,
• Experience in preparing technical proposals and RFP responses (architecturetechnical approaches)
• Proven experience with deploying solutions in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP),
• Conceptual understanding of ML and GenAI architectures,
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, or comparable modern data platforms,
• Good knowledge of BI, ETL processes, and data modeling tools,
• Fluent English and Czech on a professional level
