What you will do
Join the Data and Analytics Solutions (DAS) Team and contribute to work that supports monetary policy, financial stability, and economic research. Our team ensures that critical data is accessible, reliable, and transformed into meaningful insights that inform key decisions across the organization.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data and Analytics Specialist to provide high-impact analytical solutions and support across the organization. In this role, you will contribute to a broad range of data, analytics, and cloud migration initiatives. As part of our transformation efforts, you will collaborate with economists and researchers to transition analytical solutions and processes from legacy systems to the cloud. You will design and build data pipelines, develop and maintain data models, improve data quality, create analytical models, and deliver intuitive dashboards that support economic and financial policy decision-making.
Working closely with the Assistant Director and Team Leads you develop, deliver and maintain meaningful enhancements to data and analytical solutions, while applying development best practices and creativity when addressing user needs.

Specifically, you have experience:
Your education and experience
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics preferably with significant coursework in data analytics and data science. Candidates must also have at least five years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years developing data and analytical workflows using statistical software. A combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. Although the position language requirement is English or French essential, we do encourage everyone to improve second their language proficiency for future career growth and to contribute towards fostering a bilingual environment.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
