We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Power BI) (#19748) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions from ThoughtSpot to Power BI while aligning with enterprise BI standards.
• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports, reusable data models, semantic layers, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to ensure reliable data pipelines, governance, usability, and enterprise reporting performance.
• Drive BI best practices, stakeholder enablement, documentation, training, and Agile delivery across analytics initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in BI, reporting, or data analytics development.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report optimization, and performance tuning.
• Solid SQL skills with hands-on experience querying Azure Databricks environments.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, storytelling with data, and business-focused reporting.
• Experience with BI governance, security, role-based access, and enterprise analytics best practices.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service administration, APIs, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD for BI ecosystems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog management, and collaborative ceremonies.
• Exposure to Azure cloud data integration services such as Azure Data Factory or Synapse and modern data stack concepts including dbt.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex insights into business-friendly narratives.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ThoughtSpot for dashboards, reports, or search-driven analytics.
• Familiarity with insurance domain processes, terminology, and analytics use cases.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven insights integrated into dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Experience working with Databricks medallion architecture and semantic layer concepts.
