A day in the life of a Senior Data Analyst

As Senior Data Analyst, you will help turn data into action and insights into commercial impact by:

• Designing and maintaining management dashboards and commercial steering reports that provide transparency on business performance and pipeline evolution.
• Developing actionable insights that support management decision-making and commercial prioritization.
• Partnering with Sector and Product teams to understand their business objectives, challenges, and reporting needs.
• Identifying opportunities, client synergies, and commercial leads across products and sectors through advanced data analysis.
• Translating complex data into clear recommendations for management and front-office stakeholders.
• Assessing the effectiveness of current commercial processes and proposing improvements to increase data quality and reporting value.
• Working closely with Group stakeholders to understand the existing data landscape and influence the evolution of data assets and reporting capabilities.
• Driving the adoption and optimization of Salesforce as the central commercial steering platform.
• Making recommendations on how pipeline opportunities, client interactions, and commercial activities should be structurally captured and monitored in Salesforce.
• Contributing to the development of a strong data and performance culture across Wholesale Banking Belgium

• Proven experience in business performance management, commercial reporting, or management information within a financial services or commercial environment.
• Advanced Power BI skills and experience building dashboards that drive decision-making.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, and reporting principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both local and global stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business recommendations.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, including pipeline management and commercial reporting, is a strong advantage.
• A proactive mindset, combining analytical rigor with a strong focus on business impact.
