Job Description

As a Senior Data Analyst, you aren't just reporting on the past; you are predicting the future and influencing the bottom line. We are seeking a strategic thinker who can move beyond data extraction to provide sophisticated modeling, mentor junior staff, and lead high-stakes optimization projects.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to navigate the complex intersection of healthcare policy, clinical operations, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Strategic Modeling: Build and manage complex financial models to evaluate the impact of new payer contracts, fee schedule changes, and payer denials

Advanced Root-Cause Analysis: Lead deep-dive investigations into systemic revenue leakage. You will be responsible for identifying multi-variable trends that cause underpayments or recurring denials.

Executive Storytelling: Translate granular data into high-level strategic insights for the Executive Leadership Team (CFO, COO, VP of Revenue Cycle).

Analytics Standardization and Insights: help develop and deliver reimagined RCM dashboards and using predictive analytics to solve business problems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years in Healthcare Data Analytics with a heavy focus on the "back-end" of the revenue cycle.

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Power Pivot

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mid-level SQL skills (CTE’s, Window Functions, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization).

  • See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time:

  • Stoop, kneel or crawl.

  • Climb and balance.
