About the role

The Center for Data and Insights, Global Business Analytics team is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a passion for understanding data, creating engaging visualizations, tracking business trends and storytelling. You will focus on delivering actionable insights at the holistic business level and to executive/senior management teams from Strategy, Finance, Go-to-Market, Operations, and other departments.

In the role of Senior Data Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to stakeholders across the business, helping them frame questions, identify opportunities, and interpret insights to drive better decision-making.
• Partner closely with global teams to build strong relationships, align on trends, and manage analytics-related priorities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and impactful presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Use creative and analytical thinking to connect data into cohesive insights that inform holistic business decisions.
• Keep abreast of the latest data analytics tools, techniques, and industry trends to ensure the team remains competitive.
• Provide guidance on best practices in Tableau and enable teams to maximize the tool's capabilities.
• Uphold a high standard of analytical rigor and exceptional service across all levels of the business, navigating roadblocks and ensuring timely delivery.
• Leverage complex databases, OLAP engines, data warehouses, and data lakes through SQL or SQL-like tools.
• Lead the development of weekly insights decks for leadership by synthesizing cross-functional input, tracking goal progress, and highlighting the business impact of key initiatives.

About You

• You bring 8+ years of experience with data analysis, advanced analytics, statistics, experimentation, and optimization
• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python, coupled with proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• You have experience defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statistics, and experimental design
• You have experience working with large datasets (Terabytes of data/ billions of records)
• You have experience building compelling and actionable presentations/visualizations directed at an executive level audience
• You have experience working across a globally matrixed organization
• You have experience in the SVOD or similar subscription based industry as a plus
• You possess a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a strong foundational knowledge and expertise

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.Pay Transparency - Los Angeles, CA $134,000—$160,000 USD
