The Wealth and Pension business requires an experienced business analytics specialist to support stakeholders across marketing, sales, operations, and investments by delivering timely, relevant, and actionable insights to drive business decisions.
As the organization continues to generate increasing volumes of data, there is a need to strengthen business analytics capabilities, enhance insight generation, and improve the scalability and reliability of reporting solutions.
This role will bridge business and technology by translating business questions into analytical solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making and improving efficiency through automation using tools.
Higher caliber candidates may be considered as Assistant Manager, Data Business Solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain insightful Tableau dashboards to support business performance tracking, decision-making, and strategic analysis
Analyze business data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Partner with stakeholders across marketing, sales, operations, and investments to understand business needs and translate them into analytics use cases
Transform and prepare data using SQL and Python to support analytics and reporting requirements
Collaborate with IT teams to support data integration, data pipelines, and system-related enhancements where required
Improve and automate data processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data reliability
Communicate insights effectively through data visualization, presentations, and storytelling tailored to business audiences
Ensure data quality, consistency, and proper documentation in analytics work
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
Experience supporting business functions such as marketing, and sales
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and transformation
Experience handling large and complex datasets from multiple sources
Experience in automation and process improvement initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Knowledge of financial services or insurance industry is an advantage
Good to Have
Qualifications
University graduate, preferably in statistics, computer science, data science, data engineering, or related disciplines
At least 4 years of experience in business analytics or data analysis roles
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau is required
