Transport for NSW is looking for an experienced and insightful Senior Data and Operations Analyst to join the Operational Technology team within Operations and Platform Management.
As a Senior Data and Operations Analyst at Transport for NSW, you will transform complex spatial and operational public transport data into trusted insights that improve public transport systems, strengthen decision-making and deliver better outcomes for customers. You will investigate data-quality issues, develop dashboards and reporting solutions, and collaborate with technical, operational and business teams to improve data governance, systems and processes. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide specialist spatial data advice, support business users and help deliver reliable, customer-focused transport outcomes.

About you
You will bring professional experience in spatial data analysis or spatial data management, supported by experience working with operational data, data governance, data modelling and visualisation tools. You will have strong analytical, problem-solving and data-quality skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical insights. To succeed in this role, you will also be an effective communicator and collaborator who can engage confidently with diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities and independently deliver high-quality outcomes. A sound understanding of data security, ethics and privacy is also essential.
