Purpose

This role analyzes data to build solutions in response to customers' requirements.

Key Missions

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer based at NSEZ, Phase 2, Noida with 5-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data integration from multiple sources, including SQL, Sharepoint, AWS, Azure, Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365, and Oracle ERP systems. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights and interactive dashboards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Optimize DAX queries and data models for performance and scalability.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, sharepoint, AWS, Azure, AX, D365, and Oracle ERP.
  • Implement Power Query, Dataflows, and Power BI Service for seamless data integration.
  • Develop efficient data models using Star and Snowflake schema for better performance.
  • Optimize Power BI reports by handling large datasets and implementing incremental refresh strategies.
  • Work with data from ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365.
  • Design custom data connectors and APIs to extract ERP data into Power BI.
  • Integrate Power BI with Azure Data Lake, AWS Redshift, and SQL Server.
  • Utilize Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Data Factory for data pipeline automation.
  • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and end-users to understand reporting needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data visualizations.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and object-level security (OLS) for role-based access control.
  • Ensure data governance best practices and compliance with GDPR, SOC, and other regulatory standards.
  • Manage Power BI workspace, data gateway, and app distribution across teams.
  • Deploy reports and dashboards via Power BI Service, Embedded Power BI, and Power Apps.
  • Leverage Python, R, or AI-based insights for advanced analytics in Power BI.
  • Automate report generation and data refresh using Power Automate and Document technical processes, data models, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with Power BI, Azure, AWS, and ERP-related advancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Power BI development, data integration, and ERP data handling.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience in extracting and integrating data from D365, AX, and Oracle ERP.
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets and implementing performance optimizations.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools, APIs, Power Automate, and Azure Functions.
  • Familiarity with data security, role-based access, and governance best practices.
  • Exposure to Fabrics
