Senior Data AnalystThis role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

The Senior Data Analyst applies specialized knowledge to conceptualize, design, develop, configure, and implement data loading procedures for HPE Operations – Global Client Management – Partner Delivery related business needs. Enables business intelligence with data availability.Interacts with the internal customers and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned deliverablesUnderstands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance(validation) and measure key project parameters. Prepares documentation. Conforms to security and quality standards. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

The Senior Data Analyst applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex technical business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in MS SQL with 100+ packages/procedures development and complex ETL process ownership
  • Support HPE Operations with data loading, cleansing, and global partner monitoring for FY25
  • Manage the so called “Charm’D” database, ensuring operational stability and data integrity
  • Lead automation of data loads to enhance quality, efficiency, and process documentation
  • Participates in cross-functional teams.
  • Designs, prepares and executes data validation procedures
  • Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
  • Develops innovative team solutions to complexdata problems.
  • Contributes to strategic direction for data planning for Partner Delivery and other businesses
  • Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas
  • Applies company and 3rd party technologies to complex software solutions of moderate complexity. Independently implements end- user or enterprise solutions of significant complexity.
  • Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for clients.
  • Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 4 or more years experience in Microsoft SQL, SSIS, data manipulations and Extract Transform and Loading procedures
  • Advanced understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Advanced understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
  • Experience on multiple full release project life cycles.
  • Strong understanding of basic Database Administration. Able to define quality and security standards.
  • Good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • General project management/team leader skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally dispersed team and with clients and vendors.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
