We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join our team.

Senior Cyber Security Consultant is responsible for managing the cyber security of our client's information environment and systems. This role involves assessing risks, implementing effective governance, and ensuring proactive responses to cyber incidents.

Primary job responsibilities for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant

It’s important to stress out that Cyber Security Consultant will oversee four main domains: Cyber and Information Security Governance, Cyber and Information Security Risk Management, Cyber and Information Security Program, and Cyber Incident Management.

A Senior Cyber Security Consultant will:

• Establish and maintain the customer’s vision, strategy, and security program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
• Align information security strategies with business goals and objectives.
• Analyze, plan, and develop information security strategies that align with governance structures.
• Identify and manage potential information security risks, including emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and control deficiencies.
• Develop and oversee an information security program, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive incident response plan, including identification, categorization, and management of security incidents.

Who is the position ideal for?

This is not a technical position, but it is very dynamic. It is perfect for people with a technical background, strong organizational abilities, and a desire to advance their careers in a field directly associated with cyber security but in a managerial segment.

Highly motivated problem solver currently working in any Cyber Security or IT position with some experience in overseeing team of experts who wants steer his/her career to more active role in cyber security or seasoned project manager with experience in cyber security projects.

Qualifications:

• CompTIA Security+ certification or an equivalent certification is a must
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is a plus
• GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification is a plus
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is a plus
• At least 5+ years of experience in information security governance, risk management, program development, and or incident management
• Strong understanding of governance and technical controls focused on protecting, detecting, and responding to security issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Skills and languages:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Croatian and English.
• Knowledge of Slovenian language is highly beneficial.
