Our client is a Malaysian private limited company established in 2021 that specializes in providing mechanical, electrical, and process (MEP) line setup services for local and international construction projects.

Job Summary

This senior-level position directs the technical delivery of complex electrical and MEP infrastructure within industrial and manufacturing environments. The role encompasses the full spectrum of project execution, from initial design and procurement through to final commissioning, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous safety and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the conceptualization and physical realization of electrical networks and integrated MEP systems for photovoltaic, industrial, and manufacturing facilities.
• Orchestrate the complete project lifecycle, which includes managing subcontractor relationships, securing necessary materials, and supervising on-site installation activities.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning phases to verify that all installed systems comply with Malaysian regulatory frameworks and specific client performance targets.
• Author and validate critical technical records, such as single-line diagrams, load analysis reports, and as-built documentation required for project closure.
• Enforce strict adherence to local safety protocols and industry best practices throughout all electrical contracting and process engineering activities.
• Partner with project management teams to troubleshoot technical challenges, enhance system efficiency, and ensure milestones are met on schedule.

Requirements

• Established track record as an electrical or MEP engineer within the construction or industrial sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical wiring installations, photovoltaic technologies, and core mechanical/process engineering concepts.
• Proven capability in managing projects, including budget control, timeline scheduling, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Practical experience with testing and commissioning procedures specific to electrical and MEP systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting and producing technical drawings, schematics, and detailed engineering specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic small-to-medium enterprise setting.
