Job Description

We are partnering with a global electronics manufacturer to hire a Senior / Customer Quality Engineer to support customer quality management and drive manufacturing quality improvements within an electronics production environment.

This role will focus on customer complaint management, root cause analysis, and SMT / PCB assembly quality investigations, working closely with cross-functional teams and international customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer quality complaints, including containment actions, investigation and timely resolution.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone and FMEA, and prepare 8D reports for customers.
• Act as the main technical contact for customer quality issues and support customer audits and reviews.
• Investigate SMT and PCB assembly issues, including solder printing, component placement, reflow processes and common defect types.
• Work closely with Process, Production and Quality teams to implement CAPA and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor complaint trends, yield performance and field failures to improve overall product reliability.
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards, ISO requirements and customer quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or EMS environment.
• Strong knowledge of SMT processes, reflow soldering and PCB assembly.
• Experience handling customer quality complaints and 8D reporting.
• Familiar with quality tools such as RCA, FMEA, CAPA and statistical analysis.
• Experience communicating with international customers and managing escalations.
