About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As a Senior Customer Insights Analyst, you will help turn complex data into meaningful insights that support better decision-making and improve customer outcomes. Working with a range of structured and unstructured datasets, you'll identify trends, uncover opportunities, and provide evidence-based insights that influence customer experiences, services, and processes.
You'll work across the full analytics lifecycle, from data discovery and preparation through to insight generation, visualisation, and stakeholder engagement. Combining strong technical capability with curiosity and business understanding, you'll help ACC make informed decisions that deliver value for our customers and organisation.
This is a fixed-term opportunity through to June 2027, within the Policy, Evidence & Insights team. Location: Wellington preferred; however, applications from candidates based in Albany, Manukau, Hamilton, or Dunedin will also be considered.

You are a curious and analytical professional who enjoys working with complex data and applying technical expertise to solve practical problems. You're comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences and can explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.

Understand statistical and survey sampling principles and can apply them in practice.

Demonstrate strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
Can effectively manage competing priorities and contribute to larger pieces of work.
Bring a growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools and techniques.
Hold a relevant qualification in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline.
This role requires you to be eligible to work in New Zealand.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $101,287 and $131,077, and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
