The Senior Manager of Customer Development at Nestle Nutrition & Health is accountable for overseeing the operational aspects of Amazon sales for the company. This role involves implementing and carrying out strategic plans on Amazon to achieve Garden of Life and Solgar's revenue and profit growth targets. Working under the guidance of the Director of Customer Development, this role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with brand positioning, consumer trends, and long-term growth objectives. This is a remote based position with seldom travel within the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and measure results of sales strategies to achieve revenue, traffic, and profitability targets that align with both the mechanics of Amazon ecosystem and broader organizational objectives
  • Ensure alignment with target budget plan and new product distribution goals
  • Oversee relationship with both Amazon and agency partners, including regular engagement, strategy planning, and tactical execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as digital media, creative, and finance to ensure plan execution
  • Identify trends and new opportunities for revenue and category growth, and present recommendations to Ecommerce Leadership
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform decision-making
  • Deliver customer presentations relating to innovations, promotions, pricing, etc.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute holistic launch plans for new products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years sales experience, consumer products experience strongly preferred
  • 3+ years brand building experience on Amazon
  • Proven Amazon 1P sales experience; including familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central data sources and executing effective pricing and promotional activities to increase sales and market share for the company and its customers
  • Experience with project management including project planning and management in a complex, fast-moving environment
  • Strong relationship and account management experience; well versed in working collaboratively with partners and customers to drive initiatives that deliver on goals

The approximate target compensation range for this role is $160K to $180K. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
