ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Credit Specialist is responsible for establishing and overseeing the Group’s credit risk management framework, ensuring effective control of customer credit exposure, optimizing cash flow (DSO), and supporting business growth through structured and compliant credit practices. This role partners closely with BD, Legal, and Production teams to balance commercial objectives with financial risk management.
Credit Policy & Governance
- Develop and maintain Group-wide credit management policies, procedures, and approval frameworks
- Define credit risk classification and corresponding mitigation measures
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies
- Drive continuous improvement of credit processes and governance standards
Credit Assessment & Approval
- Lead credit assessments for new clients, including financial analysis, background checks, and risk scoring
- Advice on new clients credit terms.
Accounts Receivable & Collection Oversight
- Monitor aging reports and customer credit exposure across all studios/entities
- Drive collection strategies and escalation mechanisms for overdue accounts
- Lead the billing team to improve billing accuracy and collection efficiency
- Lead initiatives to reduce DSO and improve cash flow predictability
Risk Monitoring & Reporting
- Establish dashboards and KPIs (e.g., DSO, overdue %, bad debt rate)
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on credit risks and exposures
- Identify early warning signals and recommend mitigation actions
- Support provisioning and bad debt assessment in line with accounting standards
Cross-functional Business Partnering
- Partner with BD/Sales on client billing/collection/disputes/contracts.
- Work closely with Production to align billing milestones with delivery and approval cycles
- Act as a key advisor on balancing commercial growth and financial control
Systems & Process Optimization
- Enhance credit management workflows using ERP systems (e.g., D365) and automation tools
- Implement standardized tools/templates for credit evaluation and tracking
- Drive data quality and reporting improvements across systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8–10+ years of experience in strong exposure to credit management / AR / risk control
- Experience in multinational or multi-entity environment (gaming/tech/outsourcing industry is a plus)
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, cash flow management, and internal controls
- Proven experience in cross-functional stakeholder management (BD, Legal, Operations)
- Familiar with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills in English.
