About the role:

The position is responsible for the oversight of the company's account receivable function by providing financial, administrative and clerical support. This role ensures the company receives payments for goods and services and properly records the transactions by posting receipts and resolving discrepancies in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities but not limited too:

• Manage the accounts receivable function.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Perform and review credit checks on customers.
• Manage and review customer rebates.
• Meet KPIs, including collection targets and DSO targets.
• Manage aged debtors and outstanding balances.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position.
• Clear and professional communicator with good phone and email manner.
• General understanding of accounting and tax concepts.
• Able to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
• Fast learner with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
