Job Description

Join Portfolio Management as a Senior Credit Analyst, Agribusiness

Join a collaborative national team supporting some of Australia's most dynamic agribusiness customers. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you'll work alongside Relationship Managers, Product Specialists and Credit teams to deliver thoughtful lending solutions for a portfolio of large private and smaller public agribusiness businesses, with lending requirements of up to $250 million.

Working across a diverse range of pre and post-farm gate industries, you'll build relationships with customers and investors to understand their ambitions, providing insights and high-quality credit assessments that help enable sustainable growth and long-term success.

This role can be based anywhere in Australia, provided you have access to one of our Business Banking Centres. We offer flexibility, strong team support and opportunities to build your expertise while working with customers across the country.

You'll analyse financial performance, identify opportunities and risks, and contribute to structuring new lending transactions. Supported by an experienced team, you'll combine your analytical skills with commercial thinking to make informed decisions that balance customer outcomes with prudent risk management. This is an opportunity to deepen your agribusiness and credit expertise while working with a wide range of stakeholders and industry specialists.

What do I need?

  • Strong credit analysis skills and sound commercial judgement.
  • Agri experience across pre and post farm gate industries
  • Strong financial analysis and credit writing capability, including assessing cash flow, balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
