Senior Credit Analyst

The Team

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to support the company’s commercial growth objectives through effective credit risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, and customer exposure management. This role will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Collections teams to balance revenue opportunities with prudent risk management across regional and global customer portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Technology, IT, or Information Systems industry, with the ability to analyze financial statements, assess customer creditworthiness, and provide risk-based recommendations in a fast-paced multinational environment.

This position offers a hybrid/flexible work arrangement.

The Role:

  • Analyze customer financial statements, payment behavior, and external market information to assess trade creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor customer credit exposure and risk profiles to ensure alignment with company risk tolerance and corporate policy.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Collections teams to support business growth while minimizing credit risk exposure.
  • Coordinate with the Collections team on aging accounts, disputed balances, and credit hold matters.
  • Review and evaluate risk changes arising from customer-specific, industry-specific, geopolitical, or macroeconomic developments.
  • Provide credit risk guidance and recommendations for new and existing customer proposals.
  • Prepare credit reviews, supporting documentation, and approval recommendations in accordance with established credit policies and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and release credit holds where appropriate, ensuring timely order processing while maintaining proper risk controls.
  • Support trade finance and credit administration activities including letters of credit, bankruptcy filings, reclamations, and related documentation when required.
  • Ensure all credit-related activities comply with corporate governance, export compliance, and internal control standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and risk management best practices.
  • Carry out other duties and projects assigned by management.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in credit analysis, trade credit, or commercial risk management within a multinational environment.
  • Prior experience in the Technology, IT, Information Systems, Electronics, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial statements, customer risk profiles, and credit exposure.
  • Experience supporting regional or global customer portfolios is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of credit risk management, customer exposure monitoring, and commercial credit processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Collections teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP systems is highly preferred; exposure to SAP is also advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
