VERSANT is looking for a thoughtful, practical, and curious attorney to join its corporate Privacy Legal team as Senior Counsel. This role will provide product, privacy, and data protection advice across VERSANT's global portfolio of businesses, products, and services.
This is a role for a lawyer who enjoys learning how things work, solving problems, and helping teams turn ideas into products and experiences. You will work across the enterprise with Product, Technology, Data, Advertising, Marketing, Security, and other business teams, while also partnering closely with legal colleagues and subject-matter experts.
We care about the quality of our legal work and about how we work together. We value lawyers who are practical, collaborative, low-ego, and comfortable giving advice when the answer is not clear. We want people who approach business partners with curiosity, are willing to roll up their sleeves, and want to contribute to a legal team that shares expertise and learns from one another.
We don't expect anyone to know everything. We do expect strong judgment, initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn, take on new problems, and keep growing as lawyers while helping the team and VERSANT succeed
