About the Role

JLL is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor for a dedicated secondment to a prestigious financial services client in Hong Kong. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong procurement leadership, construction contract management, and stakeholder communication skills. The successful candidate will act as the primary cost and commercial advisor embedded within the client’s project team, supporting a diverse portfolio of works across multiple packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Procurement Lead with a strong commercial focus—managing end-to-end tender processes, from strategy and documentation through evaluation and award.
  • Manage and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and value for money.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting and analysis for internal and client stakeholders, including cost forecasts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
  • Package, scope, and sequence a range of construction works to align with program milestones and budget constraints.
  • Prepare clear, evidence-based recommendation reports to support client decision-making.
  • Act as the key liaison between JLL and the client’s internal stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and commercial insights effectively and professionally.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying or commercial management, preferably within construction, fit-out, or capital projects.
  • Proven track record in leading tenders, developing procurement strategies, and managing contractor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of commercial best practices in HK fitting out industry.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills—with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders in a corporate environment.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost and Procurement Management, or a related field.
