Multiple opportunities available with hybrid and remote options. Can be based out of any of our US offices with preferred locations in: Denver, CO. Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, Oklahoma City, OK, or Charlotte, NC.
Your impact:
Prepare detailed cost estimates at the preliminary, intermediate, final, and release-for-construction stages of design.
Review estimates prepared by consultants and contractors.
Prepare cost estimates for analyzing value engineering studies.
Assist in constructability reviews.
Support negotiations for settling contract change modifications and potential claims.
Who you are:
Bachelor ‘s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
10 or more years of estimating experience
Diversified experience in transportation projects with emphasis on rail, highway and aviation
Transit agency owner costs experience preferred
Experience with estimating software (HCSS Heavybid preferred)
Professional Certifications preferred
Familiarity with FTA (Federal Transit Administration) guidelines and funding requirements
Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software (such as:
HCSS HeavyBid
Bluebeam or similar tools
Agtek
Strong understanding of:
Construction methods and materials
Project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM/GC, PDB)
Transit project components and systems

Work Environment
