Job Description

Position Summary

The Sr. Cost & Budget Analyst is responsible for providing specialized analytical support in budgeting and cost management activities, with a focus on financial planning, monitoring, cost control, and efficiency improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets to support business objectives.
  • Prepare and update financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic plans.
  • Perform detailed cost analysis and control, identifying risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze budget versus actual variances and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop cost projections and assess financial trends to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and report key cost and budget performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support financial planning activities through budget tracking and performance analysis.
  • Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities across the business.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI;
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably TOTVS Protheus;
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience preparing executive reports and financial insights;
  • Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and interact directly with the CFO and senior leadership;
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills;
  • MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance, Controllership, or a related field is desirable.
