Job Description

The Standard Cost Analyst for the Doors business will play a critical role in managing and setting standard cost methodology across all North American Doors plant sites. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of standard costing processes in partnership with our global network of plants. Additionally, this role will support SAP S4 deployment work for manufacturing finance ensuring best-in-class utilization of technology and data systems to enable more effective and efficient cost analysis and decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard cost models for all North American Doors manufacturing sites.
  • Develop, support and maintain SAP costing processes, including design, testing deployment, cost roll-ups, master data management, and system reconciliations.
  • Analyze cost variances and collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to identify and address root causes.
  • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to provide actionable insights that drive cost optimization and improved business performance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cost performance, trends, and improvement opportunities to management.
  • Support annual operations planning and forecasting processes as they relate to standard and actual costs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial standards and internal controls requirements related to costing.
  • Partner with functional teams such as accounting, IT, sourcing and supply chain to help drive efficient and standardized processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 3+ years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with SAP exposure.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and levels.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
