As part of our Industrials & Resources East division, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Cost Administrator to join our Brisbane team. This role supports multiple projects through accurate cost control, client billing, project administration, and financial reporting activities. About the RoleReporting to the Finance Lead, the Senior Cost Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the timely preparation of client claims, project billings, cost reporting, and financial administration activities. You will work closely with project teams, finance personnel, and clients to support successful project delivery and maintain strong financial controls. Key Responsibilities Project AdministrationCreate Service Orders and WBS structures within SAP.Support employee timesheet submission and approval processes.Assist with payrollRaise purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Cost AdministrationReview and reconcile Accounts Receivable ageing reports.Monitor labour, subcontractor, and project costs to ensure accuracy.Ensure timely processing and maintenance of Accounts Payable transactions.Support project cost control and reporting activities. Client Claims & BillingPrepare, review, and submit client claims in accordance with contract requirements.Generate and process client invoices within required deadlines.Collaborate with project accounting teams to validate billing information.Maintain accurate project billing records and supporting documentation.Perform reconciliations between client and internal financial systems.Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and cash flow outcomes. What You'll BringEssential ExperienceMinimum 5 years' experience in a cost administration, project administration, or similar finance support role.Strong experience managing project costs, billing, and claims processes.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Highly RegardedExperience using SAP.Relevant degree or studies in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
