YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for providing reviews and analysis of project costs and budgets with Division Managers to ensure reasonable presentation in company financials.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

  • Determine riskfactorsandpresentfindingstoFinance Management

  • Mentor andtrainjuniormembersoftheCost Accounting Dept.

  • Review, analyzeandpreparecompanyrevenueforecastsfordistributiontoexecutive management

  • Support developmentofcurrentsystemsandpolicies/procedures(OraclePMtools,financeforms, etc.)

  • Assist in the development, implementation and/or maintenance of cost accounting systems related to collection and analysis of job costs and/or budgets.

  • Prepare subsidiary accounting and financial documents for divisions including CACs, backlog, invalid time reports and budgets.

  • Prepare various cost/statistical reports for corporate management as required/requested.

  • Prepare financial data for inclusion in bid proposals, and other similar packages.

  • Perform internal audits

  • Assist ProjectManagementinresolutionofcosting issues Traveltoregionalofficesto supportoperations,conductmonth-end reviews, and train operations staff on finance procedures and systems.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting or other related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management and general accounting, or equivalent combinations of training and experience

  • Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience

  • ProficientinusingacomputerandMicrosoftOffice(Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.);Oracle preferred

  • Ability toprioritizeandmanagemultipletasks,changingprioritiesas necessary

  • Ability toworkundertimepressureandadapttochangingrequirementswithapositive attitude

  • Effective oralandwrittencommunicationskillsasrequiredforthe position

TRAVEL:

  • Up to 20%

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range

$86,000.00-$112,800.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
