The Role

We are looking fora SeniorCorporateGovernance AnalystinFidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO)to supportproxy voting andstewardship activities Youwillreviewproxy materials,executevotes according to Fidelity’s guidelines, andengage directly with portfolio companies on governance, executive compensation, and ESG-related matters.You will also contribute to governance policy development, thought leadership, and reporting that enhances transparency tokey stakeholders.

  • Review and analyze proxy statements, shareholder proposals, and governance disclosures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vote execution using proxyvotingplatforms and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with portfolio company boards and senior executives to discuss governance and compensation issues.
  • Producereports and summaries of voting activity, stewardship outcomes,and governance trends.
  • Monitor and research trends in corporate governance, ESG, and emerging areas
  • Track regulatory developments (SEC rules, global governance codes) andto help inform potentialpolicy updates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (investment teams, legal, compliance) and external vendors.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred but not required
  • Progressive years of financial services experienceor2-4years of proxy, corporate governance,stewardship,or Environmental Social Governance (ESG) experience preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to take initiative to tackle problems, identify risks and raise issues appropriately
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret governance data and draw insights
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability and focus on achieving objectives
  • Experience with or interest in shareholder and corporate governance issues

The Team

This dynamic Investment Proxy Research team within FFIO coordinates the proxy voting programs for Fidelity’s affiliated advisors including FMRCo, FIAM, FIC, Strategic Advisers, and other internal business partners. Program activities include corporate governance research and analysis, portfolio company engagement, policy development, vote execution and operations, various reporting, and disclosure of vote activity.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
