Job Description

Main Objectives of this position:

• Responsible to serve smaller- and mid-sized customers through digital & voice channels
• (Core Accounts)
• Handle incoming Sales related requests received by Core customers
• Guide customers and help navigate our online solutions

Function and duties:

• Handle incoming Sales related customer request （via Salesforce Case Management）
• Anwer incoming Sales related telephone calls （via Contact Center）
• Promote usage of self-service tools & digital products of Hapag-Lloyd to our customers
• Handle quotation requests from Core Customers - when of interest of Hapag-Lloyd and not covered by online solution
• Handle customer requests in an standardized way according to terms & conditions
• Support with back-office activities like disputes of Core Customers, unrated shipments
• Gather and share market information collected during customer interaction

Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Able to work well with others and follow guidelines
• Ability handle customer request in an efficient, yet pleasant way
• Customer oriented attitude
• Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas
• Strong industry knowledge of the maritime shipping industry
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills, written, verbal and listening
• Ability to negotiate successfully
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Time Management skills and ability to multi-task
• Willing to work hard to achieve result and targets, self-driven
• Maintain a high level of commitment and work ethic while carrying out duties/responsibilities
