Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator of Resource Development will provide technological, innovative, strategic and analytical support to the Resource Development Leaders and their respective teams in Corporate Development, Impact Giving and Individual Giving. This role will drive optimized efficiency and planning precision that will allow us to deliver optimal donor service and maximum yield to the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

• Supports relevant donor research (individual, generational giving trends, corporate, industry, public and private foundation prospects, etc.)
• Supports research of relevant new technology considerations (Outreach, Adapt.io) and the functional optimization of existing tech platforms (such as Salesforce, NetSuite, AI and other core platforms).
• Support the implementation of new analytical applications for Pipeline Forecasting, Rep Performance Analytics, Monthly Budget Updates, Quarterly Business Review presentations, etc.
• Support the Resource Development team with portfolio optimization to ensure donors receive timely communications and other relevant information based on their annual giving tier.
• Support an outreach strategy for those GIK corporate donors that have minimal transaction needs. Partner with respective departments to support donor compliance, including donor receipts/thank yous, impact stories, meetings, etc.
• Support the Chief Resource Development Officer with monthly financial projections and the annual budget planning process.
• Support the Resources Development team with presentations, ad hoc analytic reports, and meeting preparation – including quarterly business review, board meetings, and donor meetings.
• Serve as a connector between the Marketing and Communications team and corporate donors, with collection of media assets and coordinate other collaboration opportunities as needed.
• Manage tracking and the progress of Resource Development team members’ annual goals.

Qualifications: Qualifications/Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Marketing/Communications, Business Administration, Non-Profit management or similar, or equivalent years of experience
• 3-5 years of experience with administrative/fundraising capacity
• Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PPT
• Proficient with a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
• Proficiency with research tools, AI and analytics platforms
• Knowledge of fundraising information sources for corporate donors, individual donors and foundation giving preferred
• Strong people skills with ability to interact with groups and individuals at all levels
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Willingness to take direction
• Willingness to work in a hybrid office/home environment

Salary Range

$55,000 – $60,000 annually

Note: Compensation is based on a candidate's experience, skills, education, and geographic location. This range is based on Washington, D.C.–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) market data; offers to candidates outside this area will reflect local market data.

Work Location

Hybrid, based in our Old Town Alexandria, VA office (minimum of two days per week with Tuesday as an anchor day)
