The Performance & Engagement Senior Coordinator independently manages the day-to-day execution of Stout's performance management cycle, colleague engagement programs, and employee experience initiatives, and serves as a key point of contact for colleagues and managers on performance and engagement questions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness, this role combines hands-on program administration with growing independence over specific processes and initiatives. This role is well suited for someone with HR or People Operations experience who is ready to operate with greater independence across performance management, engagement strategy, and employee experience work, with limited day-to-day oversight from the Senior Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Independently administer the firm’s performance management cycle, including goal-setting periods, check-in reminders, year-end review logistics, and calibration preparation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues and managers with questions about performance processes and timelines, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain and improve performance management templates, guides, and job aids.
  • Compile and analyze performance data and prepare summary reporting for the Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Coordinate training sessions related to performance conversations, development planning, and feedback.
  • Administer firmwide engagement surveys, including distribution, reminder communications, and participation tracking.
  • Analyze survey results and prepare initial observations and summary reporting.
  • Coordinate listening sessions and track follow-up action planning.
  • Support recognition programs and culture initiatives that reinforce Stout’s core values.
  • Coordinate employee experience programs, including onboarding touchpoints, milestone recognition, colleague network activities, alumni relations, and executive connection opportunities.
  • Maintain program calendars and participation tracking, identifying gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to performance, engagement, and employee experience programs.
  • Research relevant benchmarks and practices and summarize findings for team leadership.
  • Partner with HR colleagues and the Learning & Development team to support a consistent colleague experience.
  • Provide project support on broader Organizational Effectiveness and Colleague Experience initiatives as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, program coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting performance management, colleague engagement, or employee experience programs preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with employee data, reporting, and program documentation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with colleagues and managers at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with moderate guidance and recognize when escalation is appropriate.
  • Experience with Workday or another HRIS preferred.
  • Familiarity with survey platforms, performance management systems, or employee experience tools preferred.
  • Experience within a professional services environment preferred.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve survey analysis, performance reporting, program communications, or administrative efficiency is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

How You’ll Thrive

  • Take ownership of recurring programs and follow through consistently on deadlines and commitments.
  • Stay organized while managing multiple programs and changing priorities.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and managers about processes, timelines, and expectations.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Use data thoughtfully to identify trends and support program improvements.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication with team leadership.
  • Build productive relationships across HR, Learning & Development, and the broader firm.
  • Embody Stout’s core values: Positive and Team-Oriented, Accountable, Committed, Relationship-Focused, Super-Responsive, and Great Communicators.
  • Deliver Relentless Excellence® through reliable execution, thoughtful program support, and a strong colleague experience.
