Job Description
The primary purpose of this integral role is to provide high-level customer service and support to the RACMA membership (end-to-end) and administrative support to key projects and activities within the Membership Engagement and Advocacy Division, specifically the Continuing Professional Development Program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Provide high-level customer service and support to all member enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain an organisational service level agreement; responsibility for review and development of streamlined processes including preparation of instructions and procedures.
- Managing the new membership applications process, from submission to approval, which includes preparation of Board papers.
- Onboarding of all new Members once approved through correct College Education Division processes.
- Coordinate annual membership subscription fee process and ensure accurate financial records are maintained including outstanding debtors.
- Provide high level support to Business Systems in testing and updating MyRACMA member portal.
- Process accounts payable and receivable for the Membership Engagement and Advocacy Division via College software programs with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain membership price lists in MyRACMA in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Coordinate periodic member experience surveys and implementation of feedback
- Maintain and develop member records and reporting on MyRACMA platform, including provision of data and data analysis for Board reporting and other industry requests.
- Attend external industry events to promote the college and it’s programs and products.
- Support the administration of Special Interest Groups.
- Other duties as required
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Minimum 5 years’ experience proving administrative, planning and organisational support in a complex and fast-paced environment (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience and specialist skills in MS Office suite and MYOB (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders (mandatory)
- Relevant qualifications in business administration will be highly regarded.
- Experience within the adult education sector, higher education or a professional membership association will be highly regarded.

- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Possess initiative and be prepared to ‘go the extra mile’.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in a small office environment.
