The Sr. Coordinator directs and implements programs focused on leadership and integrates leadership development into programs and resources in Leadership and Community Engagement and across the Office of Student Life; oversees annual programs including the LEAD series. The LeaderShape Institute, Leadership Week, and Leadership Awards; advise and trains Student Leadership Advocates peer educator cohort as well as regular facilitation of leadership workshops and retreats for student organizations; supervises two undergraduate student employees for the area, and 6 paid student leadership advocates (totaling 8 student employees); oversees programming budget of 60,000, including sponsorship stewardship; creates new programming for students at all levels; . Remains grounded in research and assessment, relevant theory and literature, effective practices, and purposeful relationships to design and deliver programs and resources.
Experience
Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, plus 4 years experience in student programming and advising at the college level. Relevant knowledge of student leadership development theories and models, successful completion of a background check
Desired: advanced degree in field, 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of student development theory; demonstrated facilitation skills; experience working with and advising college students; experience working with campus and community partners
The pay range for this position is $44,400.00 - $58,000.00. T he offer will be based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications
