The Senior Coordination Manager for Public Safety and Accountability reports to the Deputy County Administrative Officer for Public Safety and provides direct board management. The Senior Coordination Manager is responsible for policy development, administrative and operational oversight and communication coordination for the PAB and the Administrative Charging Committee (ACC). In coordination with the respective Chairperson, the Senior Coordination Manager manages the general operations for the PAB and ACC designated functions and provides technical assistance and support to the PAB and ACC members. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Coordination Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Board and general public on PAB matters as well as the liaison between the Boards and the Baltimore County Police Department. The Senior Coordination Manager may also provide support to other Boards and Commissions as deemed necessary. This position will also be tasked with additional duties assigned by the County Administrative Officer and Deputy County Administrative Officer for Public Safety
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in public policy, public management, political communication or a related field.
PLUS
A minimum of five to seven years of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s degree in public policy, Public Administration or Criminal Justice or Juris Doctorate preferred.
