Location - Plano, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Purchase, NY Or Large Plant Hub, UNITED STATES

The 1NA Controls and Digital team is seeking a Controls & Information Systems Senior Engineer to define strategy for plant automation and system integration across PFNA Manufacturing.​

Responsibilities

  • Define controls and IT scope of processing, packaging, and/or material handling systems to meet functional and business requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews of electrical design, controls configuration, and functional specification documentation, provided by external vendors.
  • Assess new IT/OT technology and develop integration strategies to pilot and commercialize.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Prepare bid packages for system integrators and equipment manufacturers.
  • Provide direction to diverse groups such as IT, external vendors, and plant resources.
  • Develop reporting and visualization tools to improve operations performance.
  • Define system validation requirements, develop validation documentation, generate and execute test protocols.
  • Provide on-site start-up engineering support during line commissioning.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,200 - $134,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years experience
  • Consumer Packaged Goods experience with a focus on automation and control systems
  • Ability to reduce complex problems to a simple set of solutions
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively
  • Superior team building skills to work with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of industrial networks, controls software, and MES
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to travel 40%
