Bring advanced automation to life in a world-class manufacturing environment. We’re seeking a Senior Controls Engineer who thrives on innovation, challenges the status quo, and turns complex automation concepts into practical, high-performing control systems.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who wants to drive meaningful impact across new product introductions and capital projects—while working within a culture that values flexibility, collaboration, and balance. Because of the hands-on nature of this work, on-site presence is essential, with flexible scheduling options available to support work-life integration.
Senior Controls Engineer
USA, Louisville, KY
Lead and support capital equipment projects from concept through installation and qualification, including specifications, supplier engagement, and technical reviews.
Partner cross-functionally with design, lean, quality, EHS, procurement, and operations teams to enable successful new product introductions.
Deliver controls engineering expertise across diverse automation applications such as conveyance, packaging, fabrication equipment, refrigeration charge systems, plastics automation, and more.
Ensure equipment and tooling meet company standards, supporting Manufacturing Control Plans (MCP) and Manufacturing Control Instructions (MCI).
Champion machine safety by collaborating with EHS teams to protect employees and ensure compliance with ISO 13849.
Work alongside robotics and automation engineers to implement innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Support factory teams with implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of new and existing systems.
