Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Internal Control System (IKS).
  • Support the development and implementation of Finance policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring clear responsibilities, approval flows, and effective control points.
  • Monitor and improve key Finance processes and workflows, ensuring consistent execution and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform internal control testing and monitor the execution of key financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with finance policies, procedures, approval matrices, and governance standards.
  • Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant Finance stakeholders.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and support cash collection governance and reporting.
  • Coordinate governance activities during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
  • Support internal audits by preparing documentation, coordinating audit requests, and tracking remediation actions.
  • Prepare governance dashboards, KPI reports, and risk monitoring reports.
  • Support process standardization and continuous improvement across Finance.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Business Controllers, and other Finance stakeholders to improve finance governance, process effectiveness, and controls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Controlling, Financial Governance, Internal Controls, or Finance Compliance.
  • Good understanding of finance processes, policies, and internal controls.
  • Strong understanding of Swiss accounting and financial reporting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Fluent English; German is an advantage.
