Job Description

Welcome to Kanadevia Inova, a global innovation leader in the waste infrastructure space, where we believe in creating a sustainable future through technology and innovation.

Transforming Waste into Value

At Kanadevia Inova, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of waste-to-X technology. We are not just waste managers; we are creators of value from what communities discard. Your role at Kanadevia Inova directly contributes to turning something once considered useless - waste - into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond.

As Senior Controller, you will:

Lead the financial performance, governance, and planning activities of Kanadevia Inova AG, our largest and most complex Swiss legal entity. Acting as a trusted business partner to management, you will combine strong controlling expertise with forward-looking financial planning and analytical capabilities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with Group financial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Performance & Management Reporting

Own the entity's P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow performance. Lead monthly performance reviews, ensuring accurate financial reporting, meaningful variance analysis, and clear communication of business drivers and risks.
  • Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

Drive annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and medium-term plans in alignment with Group requirements. Challenge assumptions and support management decision-making with fact-based analyses and financial insights.
  • Cash Flow, Working Capital & Compliance

Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital transparency in close collaboration with Treasury. Monitor balance sheet positions and ensure compliance with Group policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Digital Finance & Data Analytics

Drive the use of digital tools and data-driven decision-making within Finance. Develop and enhance financial dashboards, reporting automation, and performance analytics, with a strong focus on Power BI and business intelligence solutions.
  • Business Partnering & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a key finance partner to business leaders and functional stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Group FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, HR, and Business Units to improve financial performance and governance.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering within an international organization, ideally in a B2B, industrial, engineering, or project-driven environment.
  • Strong expertise in legal entity controlling, financial planning and analysis, P&L management, balance sheet management, cash flow steering, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Strong digital mindset and affinity for data analytics, automation, and digital finance solutions.
  • Advanced Power BI skills are mandatory, including the development of management dashboards, KPI reporting, data modeling, and business performance visualization.
  • Experience with ERP, consolidation, planning, and reporting tools such as SAP, IFS, Tagetik, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and credibility to challenge senior management constructively.
  • Fluent in English; German would be considered an advantage.

The successful candidate is expected to champion digitalization in Finance and leverage modern reporting and analytics tools to improve transparency, efficiency, and decision-making."
