Full Time

As our Senior Contracts Advisor, you will be accountable for contract lifecycle delivery and commercial outcomes across multiple projects, from tender through execution to close-out with accountability for commercial positioning and outcomes within defined project scope.

You’ll make an impact by:

● Driving improvements to contract templates and commercial frameworks

● Managing engagement with legal on bespoke agreements, amendments, and compliance matters

● Maintaining contract registers and supporting governance and reporting requirements

● Mentoring Contract Administrators and lifting commercial capability across project teams

● Driving commercial positions (ie variations, extensions of time, disputes) to protect margin and manage exposure

Essential

● Strong working knowledge of contract structures and risk allocation (including liability regimes, indemnities, and limitation of liability), with the ability to apply these in live project environments

● Demonstrated experience leading contract and subcontract negotiations, achieving commercially sound outcomes aligned to risk position

● Commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret cost, margin impact, and contractual risk in project decision making

● Ability to influence project teams and challenge commercial positions

● Experience managing contracts across multiple concurrent projects

● Exposure to tender phase commercial input (pricing support, risk reviews, qualifications)

● Experience within SMP, mining, or heavy industrial project environments

● Exposure to medium–large scale packages ($20M+ scope)

Desirable:

● Experience working within contractor environments (not client-side only)

● Exposure to integrated delivery models or working alongside Tier 1 contractors

● Experience contributing to commercial frameworks, templates, or process improvement

● Ability to mentor or uplift capability within project teams

● General exposure to claims and variations within project environments

What you get:
