The Role:

EnerMech are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to be based from our Henderson site in Western Australia. Over all the role overview is responsible for providing a proactive range of commercial related support activities throughout the lifecycle of various Regional and National based projects and contracts, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with business line teams as well as identify issues, mitigations and recommend solutions to ensure all project/contract commercial matters are controlled and managed.

Your main responsibilities and activities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Manage the commercial performance of projects / contracts in order to minimise risk and maximise return
  • Responsible for assisting the business line teams to embed a culture of continuous commercial understanding and efficiency
  • Analysing costs and revenue forecasts to provide variance analysis. This includes cost allocations and cost recovery mechanisms.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed and summarised cost reports for business line teams, budget holders and management
  • Ensure project margins are maintained or improved in collaboration with the Project Managers/Account Managers/Account Leads and Contract Support Engineers.
  • Ensure all contractual notices are submitted in accordance with the contract terms
  • Support the raising, submission and approval of any contract variations and amendments
  • Ensure all contractual entitlement is pursued in accordance with the contract terms including price/rate escalation
  • Highlight any breaches of Purchase Order values in order that these can be addressed
  • Maximise cash flow by ensuring invoices are issued timeously and liaise with the client regarding cash collection
  • Ensure any Subcontracts and/or Supply Orders are managed in accordance with the relevant terms
  • Suggest, support and participate in process improvements, aligning bid and project processes, working collaboratively with other departments to improve overall processes.
  • Highlight risks and concerns to business line management

Requirements

To be considered, you will need the following:

Essential:

  • Commercial / Contractual qualification ideally to degree level (Law, Quantity Surveying, Business)
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel
  • Live within commuting distance to Henderson, Western Australia
  • Have full Australian Working Rights

Preferred:

  • Knowledge / experience of differing contractual forms (LOGIC, NEC, FIDIC, IChemE)
  • Experience of operating in different sectors
  • Exposure to fast paced organisational change
