Senior Contract Manager
• Implement contract management processes and claim strategies in line with company guidelines and processes and Project requirements
• Analyze contracts by identifying formal requirements, claim and risk implications, invoicing plans, and opportunities within bid- and execution stage of projects
• Handle contractual correspondence and documentation and ensure compliant notifications.
• Guidance to the Project team/s by understanding and interpreting the contracts
• Raise awareness of all relevant project participants for the operational implementation of Contract Management strategies
• Drive the change- / claims processes end‑to‑end: identifying, documenting, preparing, positioning, and resolving them
• Safeguard project performance and financial KPIs by proactively managing contractual obligations, entitlements, and risks.
• Provide strategic contractual guidance to project teams, enabling informed decisions and strong commercial control.
• Manage the full lifecycle of contract administration — including commercial governance, reporting, and risk monitoring in line with Vanderlande’s Contract Management Office and related company processes and guidelines
• Support and where necessary lead contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors / suppliers to ensure outcomes in compliance with applying strategies and objectives.
• Review of Purchasing / Subcontract contracts and provide contractual advice to the procurement team.
• Collaborate closely with Contract Management Office, Project Managers, Legal, Procurement, and Finance to ensure alignment and commercial excellence.
