About the Role

Hazen Technologies Inc. is looking for a Senior Content Writer with 3–4 years of professional content writing experience, including at least 2 years of experience in legal services, Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), legal technology, or B2B professional services.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, research-driven content that supports lead generation, brand positioning, customer engagement, and business growth. The role requires the ability to understand complex legal and technical concepts and translate them into clear, compelling, and commercially focused content for US-based audiences, particularly Big Law firms, legal operations leaders, and enterprise IT decision-makers.

The candidate should be a strong researcher, writer, editor, and content strategist who can work independently while collaborating effectively with Marketing, Sales, IT, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and execute content strategies aligned with Marketing, Sales, and overall business objectives.
• Research and identify high-value topics relevant to Big Law firms, legal operations teams, and enterprise IT decision-makers.
• Conduct competitor and market research to identify content gaps, trends, and opportunities.
• Develop content pillars, editorial calendars, and publishing schedules aligned with lead-generation and business objectives.
• Plan content according to different stages of the buyer journey, from awareness and education to consideration and conversion.

2. Content Creation:

Create high-quality, original, and goal-oriented content, including:

• Blog articles
• Case studies
• White papers
• Website content
• Landing pages
• Thought-leadership articles
• Service pages
• Social media content
• Email and marketing content
• Produce approximately 3–5 high-quality blog posts per month, depending on complexity and content requirements.
• Develop at least 2 case studies per quarter, where applicable.
• Create technically accurate and commercially relevant content for Hazen Technologies Inc.'s Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) services.
• Develop content addressing key LPO themes such as:
• Cost efficiency
• Legal process optimization
• Scalability
• Compliance
• Risk mitigation
• Operational efficiency
• Managed legal services
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop content related to:
• Generative AI applications
• Enterprise application development and integration
• Custom software/application development
• Automation and emerging technologies
• Adapt writing style, tone, complexity, and messaging according to the target audience and buyer journey stage.

3. Research & Industry Insights

• Conduct in-depth research on legal industry trends, LPO developments, legal technology, enterprise IT, and emerging technologies.
• Research target audiences to understand their business challenges, priorities, and decision-making factors.
• Analyze competitor content and identify opportunities to differentiate Hazen Technologies Inc.'s positioning.
• Interview or collaborate with internal subject matter experts to gather technical and industry insights.
• Collect relevant client information, business data, and success metrics to develop credible case studies and thought-leadership content.
• Stay informed about developments in AI, automation, legal technology, and regulations relevant to the company's target markets.

4. SEO & Content Optimization

• Create SEO-friendly content designed to improve organic visibility, qualified traffic, and lead generation.
• Conduct keyword research and identify high-intent keywords relevant to LPO and IT services.
• Naturally incorporate primary and secondary keywords into content without compromising readability or quality.
• Optimize headlines, subheadings, meta descriptions, internal linking, and content structure in collaboration with the SEO team.
• Review and update existing content based on SEO performance, search trends, and business priorities.

5. Editing, Proofreading & Quality Assurance

• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, readability, consistency, and grammatical correctness.
• Ensure all content follows Hazen Technologies Inc.'s brand voice, tone, style, and editorial standards.
• Fact-check legal, technical, statistical, and industry-specific information before publication.
• Verify data, statistics, client information, and case study details.
• Ensure content is original, well-researched, and free from plagiarism.
• Maintain a high standard of professional writing suitable for legal and enterprise audiences.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to understand campaign objectives, customer pain points, and lead-generation requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and technical subject matter experts to accurately communicate complex technology solutions.
• Work with legal or LPO subject matter experts to validate legal-services content.
• Translate complex technical and industry information into content that is easy to understand and commercially compelling.
• Participate in content planning and performance-review meetings.
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders while maintaining content quality and strategic direction.

7. Content Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor content performance using relevant analytics and marketing metrics.
• Evaluate content based on metrics such as organic traffic, engagement, conversions, leads, rankings, and content-assisted opportunities.
• Identify underperforming content and recommend improvements.
• Continuously refine content strategy based on performance data, audience behavior, market trends, and business requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of professional content writing experience, with at least 2 years of experience in legal services, Legal Process Outsourcing, legal technology, B2B professional services, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience creating professional content for US-based or international audiences.
• Strong ability to research and write about complex legal, business, and technical subjects.
• Proven experience creating case studies, white papers, thought-leadership articles, blogs, website content, and service pages.
• Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and professional writing conventions.
• Strong editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and research skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of SEO content writing and keyword optimization.
• Experience working with CMS platforms and content/marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
• Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into content that supports marketing and lead-generation goals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience writing for Big Law firms, legal departments, legal operations teams, or legal service providers.
• Practical knowledge of Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) and legal operations.
• Experience creating content related to legal technology, AI, automation, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise software, cloud solutions, application development, systems integration, or related IT services.
• Experience developing content strategies for B2B technology or professional-services companies.
• Experience with social media content strategy and content distribution.
• Familiarity with content marketing KPIs, conversion metrics, and marketing analytics.
• Experience working with US-focused SEO and content marketing strategies.
