Job Description

The purpose of this role is to implement and execute SEO initiatives, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.

As well as working on your clients, you will also support onnew businessresearchandprojectswhenrequired

CoreAccountabilities

You will work on3-4accounts at dentsuwhich you willeither lead or work closely with a Content Strategist on Your key accountabilities are as follows:

  • Researching,analysingand drawingconclusions on what type of queries we should target and what content isrequiredto rankat each point of the customer journey

  • Producingeditorial plans, content audits and regular content recommendations which aid our organic performance and growth

  • Understandingthe everchanging Google search results page and have a thorough understanding of theSERPfeatures toownas well asthe connection between onsite content and LLMs

  • Confident in leading1-2smalleraccounts on your owni.e.without a Content Manager

  • Ability to be self-sufficient and manage your own workload

  • Taking an active interest in innovation and industry updates, proactively making suggestions around how we can apply these

  • Proactivelyseeking integration opportunities with other channelse.g.Digital PR, Social, PPC

  • Confident delivering training sessions and knowledge shares with the more junior members of the team

  • Leveraging tools and data to make informed decisions over topics and themes to own for your clientsKnowledge oftools such asSEMRushand Google Analytics

  • Experienceduserof Excel and PowerPoint as both are used heavily in the role

  • Taking an active interest in the wider SEO and Content industry

ProfessionalSkills& Key Experiences

You will be: Curious, Creative, Self-Motivated,Organisedand Passionate

2+years’ experience in SEO/Content, either in-house or within an agency

Experience working with large retail brands delivering strategies

Analytical and data driven, with some data extraction skills desirable

The ability to work closely with various teams, contributing on a regular basis

Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to continuously improve

Exceptional client-facing ability and a strong communicator

Fluent written and spoken English,additionallanguages a bonus
