Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs functions of business, technical, technology or digital consulting requiring increased knowledge and experience of basic principles. Applies knowledge and experience of consulting attributes and increasing technical expertise to complete project assignments. Builds on experience gained as an Analyst by either obtaining more depth in a specific specialization with the expectation that assignments are larger or more complex, or by gaining experience in other specializations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributes to larger and more complex consulting tasks in support of project delivery
  • Collects, analyzes and interprets quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights, identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Under general supervision, prepares reports, presentations, processes, tools, models, and other deliverables to effectively communicate analysis and recommendations to clients.
  • Participates in client meetings and workshops to support the project team with presentation, facilitation, and note taking. Contributes to development of meeting materials and summarizes key outcomes and action items. Facilitates follow up in support of timely resolution of action items.
  • Recognizes and applies appropriate technical methods to diagnose issues and develop solutions, and engages technical subject matter experts to fill knowledge gaps.
  • Demonstrates a more in-depth knowledge of an industry or technical specialization.
  • Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. May support development of scope and fee for proposals.
  • Collaborates with team members and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes. Escalates risks, issues, or questions in a timely manner.
  • Stays current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices. Develops knowledge and experience in specific specializations and industries (minors) and participates in professional development opportunities. Shares current knowledge of latest technology and processes.

  • Master of Arts or Science
  • Typically 2-3 years experience in a business/consulting environment

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Science, preferably in business, technology, or engineering OR relevant business experience.

Minimum of 1.5 years related work experience
