About the job
The mission of the team is to scope, plan, and execute highly sophisticated, offensive security assessments for Google Cloud and Mandiant customers. This is not a checkbox compliance or automated scanning role; we are looking for a true web application hacking specialist who is passionate about digging deep, finding zero-days, and thoroughly breaking complex web applications.
Our mission is to bypass modern defenses, find high-severity logical flaws, chain vulnerabilities to achieve full application compromise, and conduct novel web application hacking research. The primary focus of this role is advanced web application and API exploitation either to facilitate an initial access vector during red team operations or in standalone web application penetration tests. Occasionally these responsibilities also include infrastructure assessments and other bespoke projects.Part of Google Cloud, Mandiant is a recognized leader in dynamic cyber defense, threat intelligence and incident response services.
