About the Role

BDO’s Transfer Pricing Practice is growing rapidly and our team is looking for an experienced Consultant/ Senior Consultant, ready for career growth and the next challenge.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing practice, developing new client opportunities, and connecting with BDO’s large international transfer pricing network. Due to BDO’s unique position in the market in Sydney, our work is a very exciting mix of advisory and compliance work.

We are looking for an individual that seeks to deliver exceptional client service to the existing client base as well as proactively engage in business development opportunities to assist in the growth of the practice.  In addition, you should be a self starter with an appetite for innovation, creative thinking and increased responsibility and challenge.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Documentation and implementation of transfer pricing policies from set up, as a large number of BDO clients are Australian outbound.

  • Preparation of transfer pricing documentation in relation to various intercompany transactions, including intangibles and debt pricing arrangements

  • Assist clients with the preparation of the International Dealings and Reportable Tax Position Schedules

  • Preparation of transfer pricing and other analysis in relation to dispute resolution and negotiations with the ATO

  • Liaison between transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax and other relevant service areas

  • Compliance with Country-by-Country reporting and Significant Global Entity rules.

  • Working with clients in a broad range of industries.

Ideally you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • 2 to 3 years' transfer pricing experience.

  • Relevant Tertiary degree, focusing on economics, commerce, law or business.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple client commitments and to deliver exceptional service.

  • Self starter and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

  • Strong business writing and numerical skills.

  • Sound understanding of transfer pricing principles and local requirements
