We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

Business: CTO

Principal responsibilities

  • Build and enhance the AI Gateway platform (design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain core services/integrations).
  • Responde to SRE alerts, triage incidents, mitigate issues, and drive recovery. Perform root-cause analysis and deliver preventive fixes/automation to improve reliability and reduce repeat incidents.
  • Respond to user queries, troubleshoot usage issues, and keep basic runbooks/FAQs up to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally with exposure to building or operating large-scale platform, infrastructure, or developer platform services.
  • Hands-on experience with API gateway and/or AI gateway patterns (for example: LLM/provider routing, policy enforcement, rate limiting, tenant isolation, authentication/authorisation, and observability). Experience with Kong API Gateway is strongly preferred; familiarity with Portkey-AI, APISIX, or Higress is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Golang or Python/Java, with solid fundamentals in concurrency and performance in distributed systems.
  • Experience with Golang, Lua, Nginx, OpenResty, and Kong is a plus, including custom plugin development, request/response transformations, traffic management, and performance tuning.
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes in enterprise environments, including ingress strategies (Nginx/Kong ingress), service networking, and workload optimisation for both stateful and stateless services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud) and operating services in production (monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planning).
  • Experience designing high-throughput, asynchronous systems using messaging queues and Pub/Sub technologies (for example: Kafka, RabbitMQ, cloud-native Pub/Sub).
  • Experience building LLM-enabled applications is a plus, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, RAG patterns, evaluation/monitoring, and integrating with model providers (for example: OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, open-source models).
