About This Opportunity
Nordic is expanding its ServiceNow practice and proactively building a pipeline of talented ServiceNow Consultants for anticipated client engagements. We are seeking experienced professionals across various ServiceNow modules and disciplines who are interested in joining a growing team focused on delivering innovative solutions and exceptional client outcomes. While a specific project may not be immediately available, qualified candidates will be considered for upcoming opportunities as our ServiceNow practice continues to grow.

SERVICENOW CONSULTANT
The ServiceNow Consultant provides platform expertise and consulting services by leveraging technical knowledge, business process expertise, and industry best practices to help clients maximize their ServiceNow investment and achieve their organizational goals. This role partners closely with clients, project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to design, implement, optimize, and support ServiceNow solutions across various business functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current business processes, workflows, and system configurations; recommend and implement ServiceNow best practice solutions
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements from client stakeholders
  • Configure, implement, test, and support ServiceNow applications and modules based on project requirements
  • Develop and maintain workflows, forms, catalogs, reports, dashboards, integrations, and platform enhancements
  • Collaborate with client teams to design scalable and sustainable ServiceNow solutions
  • Apply technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues and defects
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Provide guidance and best practice recommendations to clients and project team members
  • Work directly with project teams, end users, and leadership as project needs dictate
  • Lead and attend meetings regarding project status, ongoing work products, risks, and issue resolution
  • Accurately document progress, issues, escalations, requirements, and other project deliverables in accordance with Nordic and client standards
  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions, end user training, and solution documentation as required
  • Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities, releases, and industry trends
  • Additional project specific duties as required and directed by the client

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience required
  • Experience supporting, implementing, or configuring one or more ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, FSM, SPM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, HCLS, Workplace Service Delivery, or related platform applications
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, workflows, and best practices
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into ServiceNow solutions
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or other project delivery methodologies preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other ServiceNow certifications preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project timelines
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross functional teams
  • Highly adaptable and able to quickly learn new technologies, modules, and client environments
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to client success
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's maxims


Additional Details

  • Work may be performed remotely or onsite in a professional office environment, healthcare organization, or other industry specific facility
  • Work is primarily performed remotely; occasional travel may be required based on project, client, or business needs
  • Travel expectations are generally minimal and may vary by engagement
  • Work schedule will vary based on Nordic or client needs and may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, after hours support, on call responsibilities, or extended work hours
  • Must be available for calls, emails, and consultations as necessary to support clients and communicate with Nordic staff
  • Timely entry of time and expenses required in accordance with Nordic and client policy
  • Status reporting and project handoff documentation as required by Nordic or client
  • Provide equipment necessary to perform job functions in accordance with Nordic and client policy
  • Complete all Nordic and client required training and education in a timely manner
  • Respond to communication from Nordic management and corporate team members in a timely and professional manner
  • May be invited to attend corporate functions as a representative of the company to meet prospective consultants and strengthen relationships with clients and Nordic team members
