Working across Commercial, Digital, Technology and external agency partners, you'll use strategic thinking, technical expertise and advanced analytics to strengthen organic performance, customer experience and commercial outcomes. You'll play a key role in shaping how customers discover and engage with P&O Cruises through both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing, you'll lead significant SEO & GEO initiatives while providing specialist expertise across the wider Marketing function.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEO professional looking to take ownership of a high-profile SEO & GEO strategy within a leading travel and leisure brand, directly influencing digital visibility, customer acquisition and commercial performance.

This pivotal role will involve:

Developing and delivering the P&O Cruises SEO & GEO roadmap to increase organic visibility, qualified traffic and commercial performance.

Identifying, prioritising and resolving technical SEO challenges across the digital estate, improving site performance, search visibility and conversion.

Analysing organic search performance, customer behaviour and website traffic to provide actionable recommendations.

Embedding SEO best practice across campaigns, content, site optimisation and customer acquisition activity while leading external agency relationships

Leading the optimisation of both traditional organic search and emerging Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) opportunities across the P&O Cruises digital estate.

Providing SEO expertise, guidance and education to stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams.

Driving continuous improvement through competitor analysis, industry developments, search engine updates and emerging AI search technologies.

Collaborating with agency partners and internal teams to deliver authority-building, digital PR and organic growth initiatives.

This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid working, with an expectation of three days per week in our Southampton office and up to two days working from home.

  • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush and Screaming Frog.
