The Opportunity:

As a Senior Consultant within our Quantum Expert Services team, you will play a significant role in the delivery of expert witness and dispute resolution assignments, supporting clients and experts on complex construction matters around the world.

You will be responsible for undertaking detailed quantum analysis, preparing expert support materials and helping to formulate well-reasoned opinions on complex commercial issues. Working alongside internationally recognised experts, you will contribute to high-profile arbitration, litigation proceedings and dispute resolution processes across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.

You will play a key role in our delivery by:

• Performing detailed quantum analysis and damages assessments on complex construction and engineering disputes.
• Evaluating variations, prolongation, disruption, productivity losses and other heads of claim.
• Managing large volumes of project, contractual and financial information.
• Drafting sections of expert reports and supporting materials for arbitration, adjudication and litigation proceedings.
• Assisting experts in developing, testing and evidencing their opinions.
• Managing client-facing workstreams and contributing to successful project delivery.
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing technical knowledge across the practice.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development initiatives and helping identify opportunities for growth.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a high-calibre disputes professional who brings:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working within a construction disputes, claims consultancy or expert witness environment.
• Demonstrable experience supporting expert witness assignments, formal dispute resolution proceedings or major claims engagements.
• Strong knowledge of quantum analysis methodologies and construction contracts.
• Experience preparing expert support analyses and technical deliverables.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
• Professional membership of RICS, CIArb, CIOB or equivalent, preferably chartered.
