Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment while delivering comprehensive, patient-centered mental healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized psychiatric consultations, assessments, and evidence-based treatment plans for patients.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and complex psychiatric cases.
• Develop individualized treatment plans involving psychotherapy, medication management, and multidisciplinary care approaches.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Manage acute psychiatric presentations and provide crisis intervention when required.
• Conduct patient and family counseling, providing education and support throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional standards of care.
• Participate in clinical improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of psychiatric services.

Requirements

• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
• Extensive clinical experience in psychiatric assessment and patient management.
• Strong expertise in managing complex psychiatric cases.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board certification, Australian Board certification, or South African Board certification are highly preferred.
• Proven experience working in a reputed hospital or healthcare setting.
